Charlotte, NC–August 21st…The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has endorsed pro-business champion Dan Bishop in the special election to fill North Carolina’s 9th congressional district, the campaign today announced.
Citing his pro-growth policies and support for tax cuts, repeal of onerous regulations and the proposed USMCA trade agreement, the Chamber threw its full support behind Bishop in the September 10th election.
“Right now in Congress there are two very divergent agendas for the American economy between big government socialism that destroys jobs and the pro-growth agenda that has created an economic boom,” said Scott Reed, Senior Political Strategist for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. “It’s essential that we help elect leaders who understand how taxes, spending and regulatory policy affect job creation. Dan Bishop is a true pro-business champion who will fight to continue our economic resurgence; we’re proud to endorse him.”
“It’s an honor to receive the support of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, an incredible organization that fights every day to protect the interests of American businesses,” said Senator Dan Bishop. “The choice in this election is clear: I will fight to continue the tax cuts and regulatory reform that has caused our economy to skyrocket, while liberal Dan McCready wants to undo the tax cuts and supports billions in new spending and government regulation that will be a boot on the necks of our job creators. I want to go to Congress to help North Carolina and our country continue on the path to even greater economic success.”
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world’s largest business federation representing the interests of more than three million businesses and organizations from every size, sector and region.
